When Horses Played in the Fields

The property was divided into a few different fields and pastures.
The hayfield grew a nice crop of hay in the early summer (which it still does) and then it would be home to new mothers and their babies and sometimes horses and riders.
The hayfield was a good place for riding.
Britt and Birgitta lived in the hayfield for a week before they integrated with the herd. Birgitta loved to stretch her legs in this wide open space. A road borders two sides of the pasture. It wasn’t unusual to see cars parked so they could watch the antics.
Now the hay field is the play space of dogs.
