| A Present to Me |
 I got this at Lammle’s Western store. It seemed just perfect as it has the blue western stone, and the “carving” is somewhat Nordic, a little bit like my great-grandfather’s artwork. Mom and Dad got me a silver ring that also has carving on it – I love it! They are both the perfect souvenir to this wonderful trip. |

| Calgary and Beyond |
 This is a great statue, unfortunately a bunch of kids were sitting right against it with all of their luggage – couldn’t they have found a better place to sit where they didn’t block the whole statue? They did move some of their stuff back a bit when it was clear that we wanted to take some photos… |
The next few photos don’t really need captions, except to say they were taken as we were ascending into the heavens over Calgary.  |
