mutual of omaha

It was another grey day today… it didn’t get above zero again so the trees are still glazed with a thick layer of ice. We did venture out in the car for a few errands this morning, including a mercy stop at Kari’s to drop off some soup and cookies. I’ve hardly been out of the house this year! The hibernation continues almost uninterrupted!

We watched an otter or fisher run around the pond today - Billie-Bobbie the Beaver was not happy and made quick laps of the pond, perhaps trying to defend its territory. I have a good view of the pond from the kitchen window above the cutting board… it’s amazing that I haven’t sliced a finger off!

Lupa had a bit of a haircut… just on her face.

The TV seems to be on a continuous loop as CNN covers vote after vote for Speaker of the House. At what point do they decide that the result isn’t going to change with the nominees involved…

Awesome!
