headless george

Sitting in a restaurant 45 minutes from home watching your dog run around the living room throwing socks and towels around is not a way to have a relaxing lunch… We wondered what catastrophe we’d find when we got home but felt slightly optimistic…

Until… there, lying on its back with the head ripped open was George the Giraffe. I cleaned up the mess, grateful that it was just George, not the sofa. Adia will have to be crated for another month or two I guess.

Here are some photos of George when he first joined the family in November 2013.

We met up with Jo Ellen and Don for lunch - we hadn’t seen them for almost a month so had lots to catch up on. We tried a Thai/Vietnamese place in Orleans. It was not bad - not as good as Green Papaya - but I’d eat there again.
