Driveway Camping Averted

The dishes were packed in the tote, the bubbles were chilling in the fridge, and the camper was all warmed up, ready and waiting for us to have our picnic. I ran outside with a bucket of hot water for cleanup, only to find that it was raining :-( So I ran back inside to get Carm so we could get the slides all back in and put the camper back to bed. Another driveway camp foiled by winter precipitation...

Good news though is that Mom and Dad came by for a visit this afternoon while the slides were all out - it was fun to show them all the little features!

It was a busy day all round as this morning Trudie & Leo picked us up to make the trip for more boxes of wine, and of course breakfast out.

Whew... time to put my feet up and relax, before tomorrow's marathon meat run commences... (more about that tomorrow!).

Very few of us are what we seem.
