Two Sizes Too Small

There are some silly things of which I will never tire. "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is one program that I have to watch every year - the cartoon version of course. Dr. Seuss is a genius. And then of course there's Frosty the Snowman. One show that I haven't seen for years though is the Charlie Brown Christmas cartoon - I miss it!

You're a monster, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. Grinch.

We didn't get out for our walk today until quite late in the day - there was snow and freezing rain all day so we didn't much feel like venturing out. I was ever so glad to be home safe and warm and not on the roads trying to get to work...

So he paused - and the Grinch put a hand to his ear. And he *did* hear a sound rising over the snow. It started in low... then it started to grow.

Welcome, Christmas, bring your cheer. Cheer to all Whos far and near. Christmas Day is in our grasp, so long as we have hands to clasp. Christmas Day will always be just as long as we have we. Welcome Christmas while we stand, heart to heart, and hand in hand.
