all quiet on the western front

Silence filled the air as Lupa bounced around the Home Hardware parking lot this morning. Only one tiny bark when we first got out of the car and then quiet! QUIET! There was no barking! Even before she met people! She did get pets from 2 people: an older gentleman and a young mother.

I see from this photo that the scissors need to get busy tomorrow!

We’ll be virtually celebrating Spring and Silence tonight with a bottle of bubbles.

Today is the first day the mask mandate is removed so I wondered how many people would keep theirs on (we did) - I’d say less than 50% were wanting to preserve their health. It seems crazy to drop them now as covid is ripping through the population.

Sure we are vaccinated and boosted but someone I know that also had the jabs is pretty sick right now. One wonders what would have happened if she had been unvaccinated.

In the midst of our virtual meet up tonight I hear the bell ring! Lupa rang the bell on her own to go outside for an immediate pee. Success!

Awesome!
